So the Bremer County Fair had their combine demolition derby on Wednesday night. Ron said "I've always wanted to go to one of those!" (OK...I did NOT know I was married to a redneck! He's kept it hidden quite well all these almost 20 years!) We enjoyed the free burgers that the cattlemen were giving out, along with fries and onion rings and fried cheese balls, and we had milkshakes from the dairy people, and we HAD to try a fried twinkie and a fried snickers! The twinkie was a bit much...but the fried snickers...wow...that was YUMMY!!

Some were in pretty sad shape by the time the whole event was finished!
