Some of us arrived home from our trip to Ohio on Wednesday evening. (Cameron stayed with his cousin Nathan and traveled with him to Missouri for a fun filled week). On Friday our friend Kelly and 2 of her 3 boys came for the weekend. On Saturday we went Fossil Hunting. There is a really cool old quarry in Rockford, IA where you can find fossils everywhere you look! We found BUNCHES of them!

there were lots of places he could fall…
but he so badly wanted to keep up with the big kids!

What fun finds! Who would have thought you’d find SHELL fossils in the middle of Iowa?
