Supper tonight

is a long time family favorite. It's been a while since I made it, but it went FAST!

Chicken/Turkey Tetrazzini

2 cans cream of chicken soup
16 oz. sour cream
1/2 cup butter/margarine
fresh or canned mushrooms
1 onion, coarsely chopped
3-4 cups chopped cooked chicken or turkey
1 package of noodles (spaghetti (8-10 oz) or regular noodles
Shredded cheddar cheese

Cook noodles as directed on package, and drain. Melt butter and saute onions and mushrooms til onions are almost translucent. Mix sour cream and chicken soup. Combine butter/onion mix, noodles and turkey or chicken. Add soup/cream cheese mixture. Stir well to combine. Pour into a greased 9 x 13 or larger pan. Bake at 325 for 35 minutes. Top with cheddar cheese. Bake an additional 10 minutes or til cheese is melty.

A family favorite!
