OK, so I've been gently nudged by several people lately. I haven't posted here in a MONTH, and for some reason, folks were getting tired of reading about ice cream sundaes for Sunday dinner! I can't imagine why that would get old after only a month! LOL.
Ron and I and Rachel and Ethan spent a 4 day weekend (Valentine's Day weekend) in Missouri with our friends Erik and Kelly and their boys. We spent a lot of hours painting the walls of their cabin on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We found plenty of time to also enjoy some wonderful meals, lots and lots of laughter, sangria and gin and tonics, and we even got a few hours of sleep in there, too. We're so thankful for great friends like that. A true blessing from God!
The rest of the month was filled with pep band and jazz band concerts and contests, meetings, parent/teacher conferences, basketball games (The Cougars have won some incredibly tough basketball games and are headed to STATE on Tuesday!! Go Cougars!), and...of course, Ash Wednesday marked the beginning of Lent and all that goes with that.
