On to Grandma and Grandpas!

And then the rest of the way to Aunt Martha’s house! What a BUNCH of people we had in those houses! So much fun and food and laughter!

Sue Ann, Madi, Rachel and I spent Tuesday afternoon shopping and doing girly things like getting ears pierced. I was the only one of the 4 of us that came home without extra holes in their ears! Sue Ann had let hers grow shut years ago, so she got hers redone. Rachel got a 2nd set of holes put in her ears, and Madi got hers pierced for the first time! What fun we had (and what a lot of $$ was spent at that store, LOL)

Madi was pretty nervous about the whole thing!

but she toughed it out and did great!

She got shiny, sparkly April birthstones (diamond…for her daddy!) in her ears!

She LOVES having her picture taken!

She got emeralds for her birthstone. Looks great!

A Visit with Old (and NEW) friends

These dear old friends are VERY important to me…but I HAD to go visit these babies! Obviously…the babies got my attention…and the parents…well…I didn’t even get a picture of the parents! Grandpa Steve managed to get in one, but only because the baby was on his lap! What fun it was to see Steve and Kathy (thanks for letting us invade your house for the evening!) Kasey and Landon and adorable little Autumn, Ashley and Anthony and that beautiful baby boy Mason, and Travis again.

“Really, mom?” “Yes, Rachel! Really! He’s just to cute not to take a picture of the two of you!” Look how TINY little Mason is!

And we can’t forget Autumn! Look! It’s a little Kasey!!! Oh my GOSH is she cute or what???

A Trip to Ohio!

The Christmas trip began with us arriving at my sister’s house at around 1 am on the 27th! We spent a few days with her…lots of fun! My dad and Dorothy spent an afternoon with us as well!

Caleb never got around to getting his stocking out. So HIS “stuff” went into an old sweat sock…good for a few laughs!

Rachel FINALLY got that comforter set she’s been wanting (needing!!) for a long time!

It was a blustery, cold, icy, yucky Christmas Eve, but we celebrated in spite of the yucky weather. We had the Children’s program at 7, and then the candle light service at 11. In between the two services we had our Christmas here at home.
